DAY 11: TUESDAY, 11 APRIL 2017 – RENE MANEWILL: Cape Town

We spent the entire day in Cape Town and enjoyed the beauty of the city.  First, our tour guide took us to a township where we had a view from a tower over the township.  We then visited the botanical garden, Kirstenbosch where we had lunch under the trees and feasted our eyes to the beautiful views of the garden.  We could also see the garden from the Boomslang. We made unforgettable memories together. Before we went up Table Mountain, we first relaxed at Camps Bay, bathing in the sun, eating ice cream.  It was very relaxing but full of adventure too.  We climbed rocks, evading the waves, ended up wet.  It was real fun and I have never laughed this much.

The long wait to go up Table Mountain was worth every minute because the view from the mountain was breath taking. There were some of us who were scared of heights, but even they overcame their fear and enjoyed the view.  It was my first time in a cable car and I will never forget this unforgettable day.

I loved every excursion we have been on.  The camp had so much to offer and if I could do it over again, I would certainly do it again.  Although I enjoyed the excursions and the sight-seeing, I must admit that doing drama together was the best.  I will forever treasure our time together.
